The SLA contracts to reserve a block of rooms based upon anticipated conference attendance in an effort to accommodate conference attendees' stay at the host hotel. It is very important to the SLA that conference attendees book their overnight rooms in the SLA room block so we are not required to pay attrition fees for unused rooms.
