Jordan umpired professional baseball for 9 years, reaching AAA and MLB Spring Training, while also serving as Vice President of the Association of Minor League Umpires (AMLU) for his final season. Upon leaving baseball for law school, he became President of the Union. In 2020, he joined the law firm of Baker Donelson working in corporate and M&A. Since leaving professional baseball, Jordan continues to umpire collegiately for the SEC.
