*Regular membership in the Sports Lawyers Association shall include only attorneys who are licensed to practice law before the highest court of any jurisdiction.

Law Educator Membership
**A Law Educator is a person serving as a full- or part-time educator at an accredited college or university, and not actively engaged in practicing law, shall be eligible for law educator membership. Only law educator members who are full-time professors of law at a school of law accredited by the ABA and not actively engaged in practicing law may vote and hold office in the association.

Law Student Membership
***Any full-time law student enrolled at an accredited school of law shall be eligible for law student membership. Law student members shall have no vote nor be eligible to hold office in the association.

New Lawyer Membership
****Recent graduates who have passed their Bar exam within 2 years of their graduation. The same member benefits are extended as that of a Regular Membership.
